The two exterior doors located on the gas pump side of the facility have daylight present under them. All outer openings shall be tight fitting to prevent insect and rodents from entering. Repair or replace the sweeps so the daylight is no longer present by the next routine inspection. - 6-202.15 (C) (E): (C) Exterior doors used as exits need not be self-closing if they are: (1) Solid and tight-fitting; (2) Designated for use only when an emergency exists, by the fire protection authority that has jurisdiction over the FOOD ESTABLISHMENT; and (3) Limited-use so they are not used for entrance or exit from the building for purposes other than the designated emergency exit use. (E) Paragraph (D) of this section does not apply if flying insects and other pests are absent due to the location of the ESTABLISHMENT, the weather, or other limiting condition. - V |

Quat sanitizer is used at this establishment. No sanitizer was made up during this inspection to be tested. Test strips are available. The vomiting and diarrheal event procedure and company illness policy were discussed during this inspection. The Person In Charge stated they call a hotline with Thornton's if any of those items need to be address or there are questions and they guide you further. All employees are tested on these items when they are hired. |
